Export lists

If you need to access a list of records outside of HubSpot, you can export an active or static list of your records and their property values.

For example, you can export a list if you want to send a spreadsheet to someone else in your organization, or if you need to view contacts associated with an event outside of HubSpot.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Lists.

  • Hover over the list to export, then click More > Export.

  • Select the checkbox next to a property to include in your export. You can click Select all properties at the top to include all properties. In the selected columns on the right, you can click X to remove any properties you don't want in the exported list.

Please note: the following behavior is expected for associations:

  • If you include associated company properties, only properties from the associated primary company will be included. 
  • You cannot export associated records in a list export. If you want to export records with their associations, export a view instead.
  • Click Next.

  • Select a File format.
  • Select the language for the exported column headers.
  • Click Export. You'll receive an email in your inbox, based on the email you use to log in.
  • In the export email, click Download to download your list export file and open it on your device.
